As America struggles to free itself from what President Bush refers to as an "addiction to oil", one promising alternative fuel is hydrogen.

But where will the hydrogen come from? Hydrogen Pathways aims to answer that big question with a series of reports on the multiple sources available for the production of this fuel. Starting in Iceland with the potential offered for hydrogen production by geothermal energy, Hydrogen Pathways will follow a General Motors' sponsored trip around the globe to investigate potential sources.

As well as geothermal, Hydrogen Pathways will report on nuclear, biomass, wind and solar generated hydrogen and discuss the ways all these sources will combine to provide the basis for a future hydrogen economy.
